What I teach

Computer Software:

• Adobe Photoshop
• Adobe Illustrator
• Adobe Flash
• Mac OS X (includes most pre-installed apps)
• Apple Aperture
• Apple iWork (Pages, Numbers, & Keynote)
• iOS (How to use an iPhone or iPad)

Web Design & Development:

• HTML 5 (creates the structure)
• CSS 3 (defines the visual/graphic aspects)
• ExpressionEngine (for managing dynamic content)

Rates

Student Rate:     $20/hour

Regular Rate:     $25/hour

Your first 1-hour lesson is free.

Locations

Savannah, Ga

I teach downtown at various locations, depending on your preference and access to a computer to work on. Typical locations include Foxy Loxy and SCAD campus.

SCAD grad / graphic designer / entrepreneur / tech geek

I studied Visual Communications at the Savannah College of Art & Design, graduating in the Spring of 2010. Since, I have been living in Savannah and working as an entrepreneurial graphic/web designer. I've co-founded 3 start-ups, two of which are based here in Savannah. In addition, I started Adobe1on1 because I've found myself time and time again in a position where friends, family, and fellow students would ask me for help with computer or software questions. I started using Photoshop in 2002 and Illustrator a year later. Over the years, I've fallen in love with the web and learned to hand-code HTML, CSS, and use ExpressionEngine to build dynamic websites that clients can maintain on their own very very easily. I'm also an amateur photographer.
